Chapter 1
MANDATO characters
Four people are solid enough to name. Everyone else in the bar and on the street stays unnamed here, because the game never introduces them in a way I can cite.
What I checked
I only kept a name when the store text or at least two recordings supported it. Juan Dela Cruz is on the hiring letter in the Kubz Scouts and Hayden Green uploads. Mina is in the official blurb and leaves the ID on camera. Mayor Perez is the name three transcriptions settle on, though one pass heard “Pis.” Leah is the name on the child’s drawing and the child in the hospital scene.
Juan Dela Cruz
You play Juan. He tends bar at Ligaya Lounge Bar. The employment letter is dated 2024-03-02 and starts him on 2024-04-04, 3pm to 11pm, six days a week. He supports the mayor out loud, including in the last monologue. The family drawing names Juan, Mina, and Leah, but the hospital scene leaves their chronology open.
Mina
Mina is Juan’s wife and a reporter who will not drop the mayor. She leaves her ID at home, rides a tricycle, and asks Juan to send a photo of the badge. Later she is the person he sends the bar recording to. The official text calls her uncompromising. The ending monologue says she is the one most ready to blame Perez.
Mayor Perez and Leah
Mayor Perez hands out relief goods and is the person the rumors collect around. Juan insists someone else may be using the mayor’s name. I am spelling it Perez because that is the repeated hearing, and I am noting the “Pis” hearing so you know the spelling is from audio, not from a printed title card I can point to.
Leah is their daughter. The drawing in the bedroom says “Papa, Mama, and Leah.” The hospital scene is about her. I do not have an official age or a second surname.
